AJC GOES 40G

The Australia Japan Cable has picked Ciena for a 40G upgrade that will add a further 560Gbps of capacity to its 12,700km network between Australia, Guam, and Japan. The new upgrade will be based on Ciena’s 6500 Packet-Optical Platform featuring its WaveLogic coherent processors, which will support a future migration to 100G technology.
